I have recently been painting the wonderful old meetinghouses of Maine.  This painting is in keeping with that series in size, medium and subject.  The subject being buildings which have great meaning in their community. Buildings that hold the prayers, secrets, fears and hopes of countless people.  

In the spring of 2013 the Cape Ann Museum is exhibiting work by artists who have participated in the Cape Ann Artisans Tour, very possibly the oldest studio tour in the country. Our Lady will be there! and I am thrilled.
